James C Atkins
Born in Warburton and raised in Melbourne’s east, James C Atkins found his musical calling early — first on saxophone, then in school choirs, before discovering his true voice on the guitar at 15. What began as a teenage outlet for emotion became a lifelong passion for songwriting, storytelling, and connecting through music.
After years of refining his sound, James broke through in 2024 with his debut single “Up Jump The River”, reaching the Top 10 on AMRAP regional radio charts, followed by “Brighter Skies”, which received airplay on ABC Grassroots and ABC Country. His soulful voice, heartfelt lyrics, and charismatic stage presence make him a rising artist to watch.
