She quickly became a Melbourne Comedy Festival favourite, earning a Best Newcomer Nomination in 2006.

You might recognize Claire from her four-year stint as a team captain on the iconic show Good News Week alongside Paul McDermott and Mikey Robbins. She’s also graced our screens as the host of The Great Australian Bake Off and made appearances on The Project, The Weekly, Question Everything, Spicks & Specks, and many more.

Claire’s talents extend beyond comedy; she’s a celebrated podcaster with ABC’s The Pineapple Project and her own show, I’m the Worst with Claire Hooper. She’s also a children’s book author, a comedy director, and a qualified garden designer.

Her latest stand-up show, So Proud, has toured nationally and earned her the prestigious Piece of Wood Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
